LĪGO SET

Beer, cheese and oak leaves in various forms are an integral part of the Līgo celebration and have been for centuries. The Midsummer feast is based on dairy products, bread, pork and barley beer. Round Midsummer cheese symbolises the sun and the world as a whole. When a piece of cheese is broken off, everyone takes a share of the sun's strength. Brewing and drinking beer is also a Līgo tradition. Beer symbolises the household's hard work in cultivating fields, sowing grain and harvesting, and it is also an indicator of rural productivity.

The cutter set includes a beer mug, a piece of cheese and oak leaves in three sizes.

Two set sizes are available: small and large. In the small set, the beer mug is 8 x 6 cm, the cheese piece is 6.5 x 5 cm, and the oak leaves are 6, 8 and 11 cm.

In the large set, the beer mug is 10 x 7.5 cm, the cheese piece is 10 x 8 cm, and the oak leaves are 8, 11 and 13 cm.
